CAELINUX operating system for every scientists or engineer

In today's post, I would like to present you an operating system specially dedicated to engineers and scientists.

free operating system for engineer
Free operating system based on Linux for Engineer

What are the benefits of using the CAELINUX operating system?

The possibilities of the powerful system are so large that I do not know a person who would fully use the potential and capabilities of all applications and functions of Caelinux.
In this collection you can find equivalents of virtually all commercial programs available on the market.  Every user of technical and scientific software will find something for themselves, starting with the Matlab user and ending with the modeling person in Ansys.
When it comes to CAD software, we have several options to choose from. The most important programs  are: FREECAD, OPENSCAD or LIBRESCAD.
For FEA / CFD (CAE), we also have a whole host of programs to choose from.  The most advanced and constantly developed are: OPENFOAM, CALCULIX, CODE-ASTER, CODE-SATURNE etc.
For model definition at the level of creating a finite element mesh and for defining boundary and initial conditions, we have such tools as: SALOME-MECA, PARAVIEW, HELYX-OS, ELMER GUI etc.
For mathematicians and people who deal with mathematical modeling, CAELINUX also has a whole lot of applications and programs.  The most important of them are: PYTHON, PYTHON Scipy with Spider, GNU OCTAVE, R, SCILAB, WXMAXIMA, GFORTRAN, JAVA G ++ etc.
The next versions of this operating system have been released every year so far, but from some point there is a slight stagnation and suspension of the development of this great undertaking.  It is hoped that the originators will return to the development of CAELINUX.  Below I am providing you with links to the source page of this Linux-based operating system for engineers and scientists.

It is a pity that work on the CAELINUX operating system was stopped some time ago. I think that the potential of this type of tool is very large in terms of supporting scientific development and engineering knowledge. It is hoped that the development of this type of OPEN SOURCE software will be resumed. For now, you can test older versions, especially on time-advanced computing machines. Coupled systems using the idea of combining CAE programs and equivalent mathematical modeling tools of the MATLAB type are required today in terms of development and research.
